Revolving Doors: The Undue Influence of Corporate Lawyers on the Competition Bureau (May 18, 2000: 21 pages).  The report details several cases of corporate lawyers and their law firms representing the Commissioner of the Competition Bureau while, soon after or sometimes at the same time, also representing the Commissioner before the Competition Tribunal. The report sets out 4 recommendations for ensuring that the practice of using outside corporate lawyers is prohibited, and the enforcement of conflict of interest rules is strengthened.
